THE CYBER SECURITY INTELLECTS TEAM UP WITH HOWARD UNIVERSITY'S CAPCOMM LAB

The Cyber Security Intellects were proud to be one of the four firms selected to work with Howard University’s student-run and faculty-advised integrated communications management agency Capstone Communications Laboratory (CapComm Lab), earlier this summer.

The HU CapComm Lab serves corporate, government, nonprofit, and small for-profit firms assisting them with advertising and public relations while providing their students with a rigorous professional challenge in preparation for entering the business world or moving on to graduate education.

Over the last four weeks, a bright team of students from the HU CapComm Lab (Barrette Palmer, Naya Whitehall, Alexis Austin, and Loren Harvey) worked to develop a strategic plan to assist The Cyber Security Intellects with future efforts.

The highlight and capstone of the engagement was the student presentations held this past week at Howard University’s Cathy Hughes School of Communications. During the presentation, the students were able to share the communication plans they put together as well as talk about their experience working with the various companies.

During the presentation, Barrette Palmer, who served as the account executive for The Cyber Security Intellects said, “I enjoyed working with The Cyber Security Intellects. As someone who did not pay much attention to the many risks associated with internet usage, working with The Cyber Security Intellects made me give my internet and social media usage a closer look.“

During the event, The Cyber Security Intellects’ CEO and Founder, Ehijele E. Olumese, also mentioned that TCSI team appreciated the opportunity to work with such a great team and look forward to continuing to work with Howard University and their students.
