The fields of cybersecurity and data privacy are expanding and offering substantial diverse career opportunities. By providing a $1,000 “Where Pop Culture & Cyber Security Meet” Scholarship award, The Cyber Security Intellects nonprofit organization hopes to encourage the next generation of professionals to pursue a rewarding, lucrative, and meaningful career in a field that impacts the areas of cybersecurity and data privacy.

U.S. Resident
Current undergraduate student
Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or Higher
Attending an accredited College or University
Majoring in a field that has the potential to impact the areas of Cybersecurity or Data Privacy. (Including, but not limited to, majors related to: cybersecurity, computer science, criminology, engineering, mathematics, journalism, education, communications, public policy, sociology, etc.)
Demonstration of an interest in the field of Cybersecurity or Data Privacy
Completion of the scholarship application before the deadline

The scholarship will be awarded to the applicants that meet the minimum requirements and best demonstrates creativity and desire to make an impact in the field of Cybersecurity or Data Privacy.

The winners will be notified by email after the judging has been completed.

The $1,000 award will be paid to the winners within one month after being notified. Students must provide proof of enrollment via official transcript prior to disbursement of the award.

The award winners understands and represents that the scholarship money shall be used only for education-related purposes, such as tuition, books, etc.

By submitting an application, the applicant grants The Cyber Security Intellects, its agents and/or representatives permission to post the applicant’s name, school or university, applicant’s photo, and the winning entry on the website and in other marketing platforms, including but not limited to blog, social media accounts, and related sites.
