A CHANCE TO CHAT WITH OUR SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

Our CEO & COO recently had a chance to catch up with each of our 2020 Scholarship winners via Zoom and let’s just say we were spot on with our selections! Both of these amazing yet humble students shared how grateful they were to have been selected for this year’s scholarships. 

During this chat, we inquired about their goals for the current school year as well as after finishing undergrad and we were quite impressed with what they had planned. Our $1000 “Where Pop Culture and Cyber Security Meet” Scholarship winner, Daniel Jimenez, had us on the edge of our seat during the Zoom call. He talked about how he has balanced his education with some of his previous endeavors as well as his graduate school plans and the upcoming launch for the company, IRRLY, that he is starting up with friends.

Our $500 Scholarship winner, Dallyn Reden, wowed us with her steadfast dedication to her current studies and building up her Computer Science department, as well as her intricate plans for furthering her education and making an impact in the field.

We also shared details on TCSI’s existing efforts and gave them an early teaser of some of TCSI’s future plans! It was great to discuss potential ways that we can continue to collaborate with our scholarship winners and support one another through student ambassadorships and more. 

Here at TCSI, our passion for giving back while increasing awareness of the importance of cybersecurity does not stop at awarding scholarships. We look forward to the opportunity to find new, interesting ways to spread our message and further support the future generation of cybersecurity enthusiasts.
